There was no reason for the Giants to move on from Casey Kreiter as their long snapper, and on Wednesday they re-signed one of their steadiest and most popular players.

Kreiter, 34, has never missed any time in his five seasons with the Giants, playing in all 84 games.

As a leader on special teams, he was voted in as a team captain in 2022 and again last season.

In 17 games in 2024, Kreiter handled the long-snapping duties on field goals and punts and came away with five special teams tackles.

He was with the Broncos his first four NFL seasons.

Jamie Gillan, the Giants’ punter the past three seasons, is set to become a free agent.

Kicker Graham Gano has two years remaining on his three-year, $16.5 million contract.
