The Giants still need help rushing the passer, especially with Markus Golden possibly gone, and so general manager Dave Gettleman added a potential contributor in that area in the sixth round.

Outside linebacker Cameron Brown was the pick (183rd overall), after Big Blue used three of its first five selections on offensive linemen. Brown isn’t a pass-rushing specialist, but he projects as a potential weapon as a blitzer.

He had just 4.5 sacks in four years at Penn State, although the 6-foot-5, 233-pound linebacker was a factor behind the line of scrimmage, notching 12 tackles for loss over the past two seasons and recorded 72 tackles overall last year.
