Giants GM Dave Gettleman took his third “hog molly,” the name he gives to monsters up front, in the fifth round, picking Oregon guard Shane Lemieux 150th overall after using his first and third round picks on offensive tackles Andrew Thomas and Matt Peart, respectively.
The 6-foot-4, 310-pound Lemieux is durable, starting 52 straight games at left guard for the Ducks and was a second team All-American selection by the Associated Press last year. The Jets and Joe Douglas, meanwhile, have drafted two offensive lineman, picking offensive tackles Mekhi Becton in the first round and Cameron Clark in the fourth.
