The league has taken notice.
The Jersey tale Tommy DeVito is fashioning has reverberated around the National Football League, as DeVito on Wednesday was named the NFC Offensive Player of the Week after directing the Giants to a comeback 24-22 victory over the Packers on “Monday Night Football.”
Jets quarterback Zach Wilson captured AFC Offensive Player of the Week honors after leading the Jets to a 30-6 win over the Texans in his return as the starter, completing 27 of 36 passes for 301 yards and two touchdowns.
DeVito won his third consecutive start and did it spectacularly, completing 17 of 21 passes for 158 yards and one touchdown pass to Isaiah Hodgins.
DeVito completed 10 of 11 passes in the second half.
The Giants trailed 22-21 with 1:33 remaining and DeVito went 4 for 4 on a 57-yard drive, highlighted by a 32-yard hookup to Wan’Dale Robinson to set up Randy Bullock’s game-winning field goal.

He has not thrown an interception in 87 consecutive pass attempts.
