Plaxico Burress’ former Giants teammates admit it will seem strange at first to see him in a Jets uniform Saturday night at MetLife Stadium.

Justin Tuck already experienced that feeling watching Burress catch a touchdown in his first game with the Jets last weekend.

“It’s pretty weird,” Tuck said Wednesday of the veteran wideout trying to come back from nearly two years in a New York prison. “Just watching the highlights [from Burress’ debut against the Bengals) was pretty weird.”

Burress’ over-the-shoulder TD grab in the corner of the end zone, on the other hand, looked awfully familiar to Tuck and other Giants who watched him make that same play countless times with their quarterback Eli Manning.

“Maybe [Mark Sanchez] went back and watched some of those plays he made with Eli,” Tuck said, laughing.

Tuck doesn’t think the strange feeling of facing the Giants’ former Super Bowl hero will last long, however.

“I’m sure he’s going to try to make a splash, and we’re going to try to make sure he doesn’t,” the veteran defensive lineman said.

Manning downplayed seeing Burress on the other side of the field Sunday, saying such twists are a fact of NFL life.

“You play in this league long enough, you’re going to play some [former] teammates,” Manning said. “We had a great run together, but things happen.”

Manning never visited Burress in prison, unlike several Giants players and executives, but phoned him shortly after his release and is eager to reconnect in pregame warmups.

“I’m looking forward to seeing him,” Manning said. “It’s been a long time.”
