The Giants have completed their mandatory initial cutdown to 53 players, with a handful of veterans notably sent packing on Tuesday.

Wide receivers Isaiah Hodgins and Allen Robinson, fullback Jacob Johnson and cornerback Darnay Holmes headlined those jettisoned by the Giants.

Hodgins scored a touchdown in the team’s 2022 playoff win over the Vikings and seven more in 25 regular-season games over the past two seasons.

Johnson, a five-year NFL veteran, was signed earlier this month for depth at tight end and fullback after spending the previous two seasons with the Raiders.

The Giants drafted Holmes in the fourth round in 2020.

Despite seeing limited time on defense last season, he was re-signed to a one-year, $2 million deal this offseason.

Holmes played significant snaps in the preseason finale against the Jets with other backups and suffered a neck injury.

Linebacker Tomon Fox, who has bounced on and off the Giants roster since 2022, cornerback Tre Herndon, running back Dante Miller and tight ends Lawrence Cager and Jack Stoll also were cut.

Receiver Miles Boykin and center Jimmy Morrissey were also released, but the Giants will try to add them to their practice squad, according to multiple reports.

The Giants also placed receiver/returner Isaiah McKenzie on season-ending injured reserve with a foot injury.

Giants coach Brian Daboll said the roster is still “fluid” due to outside cuts and waiver claims, but based on Tuesday’s practice, the initial 53-man roster includes:

Quarterbacks: Daniel Jones, Drew Lock, Tommy DeVito.

Running backs: Devin Singletary, Tyrone Tracy, Eric Gray.

Wide receivers: Malik Nabers, Jalin Hyatt, Wan’Dale Robinson, Darius Slayton, Gunner Olszewski, Bryce Ford-Wheaton.

Tight ends: Daniel Bellinger, Theo Johnson, Chris Manhertz.

Offensive line: Andrew Thomas, Jon Runyan, John Michael Schmitz, Greg Van Roten, Jermaine Eluemunor, Aaron Stinnie, Evan Neal, Josh Ezeudu, Jake Kubas, Austin Schlottmann.

Defensive line: Dexter Lawrence, Rakeem Nunez-Roches, DJ Davidson, Jordon Riley, Elijah Chatman.

Outside linebackers: Brian Burns, Kayvon Thibodeaux, Azeez Ojulari, Boogie Basham, Benton Whitley.

Inside linebackers: Bobby Okereke, Micah McFadden, D’yontae Johnson, Carter Coughlin, Matthew Adams, Darius Muasau.

Cornerbacks: Deonte Banks, Nick McCloud, Cor’Dale Flott, Dru Phillips, Isaiah Simmons, Tre Hawkins.

Safeties: Jason Pinnock, Dane Belton, Tyler Nubin.
