The Giants, in an effort to help create real change instead of merely talking about it, are partnering with RISE to help with voter education and registration.

During the 2020 season, Giants players and coaches will work with RISE leading up to Election Day on Nov. 3. The goal is to educate, engage and empower, through civic engagement, so that the Giants community understands the importance of voting.

RISE is a national nonprofit that educates and empowers the sports community to eliminate racial discrimination, champion social justice and improve race relations.

During training camp this summer, RISE will conduct a voter registration session for the team with RISE to Vote, a nonpartisan voter registration and education initiative to mobilize athletes to vote. RISE to Vote held a session with the Giants in 2018, featuring guest speaker Martin Luther King III, and in 2017 moderated a conversation about race relations with the team and Sen. Corey Booker (D-N.J.).
