The Giants will put a new kicker on the field Sunday when they face the Chargers at MetLife Stadium.

Jude McAtamney on Saturday was activated from the practice squad after staving off a challenge from recently signed veteran Younghoe Koo.

A move was necessary because Graham Gano suffered a strained groin during pregame warmups before the Week 3 loss to the Chiefs.

Gano has been placed on injured reserve, meaning he will miss at least the next four games.

McAtamney, 25, kicked at Rutgers and was signed last year as part of the NFL’s International Player Pathway Program.

The native of Northern Ireland attempted and made one field goal last season for the Giants.

Koo, released last week by the Falcons, is an eight-year NFL veteran with a track record — 85.8 percent success rate on field goals. The Giants opted to go with McAtamney, though.

In other moves, DL Elijah Garcia, OLB Tomon Fox and LB Neville Hewitt were added to the roster from the practice squad.
