Tom Brady’s life forever changed in August 2007, when he and ex Bridget Moynahan welcomed their first child, son Jack.
That same year, the then-Patriots quarterback was starting a new relationship with supermodel Gisele Bündchen. As Brady reflected in Tuesday’s installment of “Man in the Arena,” the couple learned a lot about one another — and what they wanted long-term — in a short period of time.

Brady, now 44, said that when his son arrived in the summer of 2007, he “got pretty anxious” about living in Boston, whereas Moynahan was out west. On top of his burgeoning romance with Bündchen, Brady pondered, “How is this all going to play out?”
For Bündchen, who “was so in love” with Brady, she had to envision what that life could look like.

That I felt like, ‘Oh, I think I have to really think about this,’ ” Bündchen said on Tuesday’s episode. “If you’re choosing this, you’re choosing, you know, to have this child for the rest of your life, and his mom and all of this, you know, this is all gonna be part of your life.”
Bündchen, now 41, added that her extended family has been “the biggest blessing in [her] life” and that she loves Jack like “he’s [her] own little munchkin.”
“Our relationship was built on a really strong foundation because we learned about who I was and who she was at a really early point,” Brady said. “We were, you know, in this together.”

InstagramBündchen and Brady have since welcomed two children, son Benjamin, 12, and daughter Vivian, 9. For Brady’s seventh Super Bowl win in February, his first with the Buccaneers, the quarterback celebrated with his three children on the field at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa.
“I am so proud of the man you are and I am so happy to see the smile on your face every time you get to go out there and throw that ball,” Bündchen wrote on Instagram in February. “Now, we are so happy that we get to have you home for a little while (well, at least until next season 😉).”
Currently, the Buccaneers are atop the NFC South at 10-3 – with another run at the Super Bowl potentially in sight.
