Gisele Bündchen has been radio silent since her husband Tom Brady and the Buccaneers were bounced from the NFL playoffs on Sunday with a 30-27loss to the Rams.
The supermodel, who was featured on the Fox broadcast in a box suite during the game, has yet to post on social media after the upset, which has sped up talks about Brady’s potential retirement.
Cameras caught Bündchen enjoying some organic Theo Chocolate with Bucs supporters at Raymond James Stadium — where Brady received his first-ever unsportsmanlike conduct call in his 22-year career.
The former Victoria’s Secret Angel sported a black jacket with “Brady” on the hood and her husband’s No. 12 on the back.
The couple’s 12-year-old son Benjamin seemingly saw his mom being recognized on the Fox broadcast, and jumped in the frame. She eventually caught on and waved her arms in the air.
Brady and Bündchen also share a daughter, Vivian, 9. The seven-time Super Bowl winner has a 14-year-old son, Jack, from a previous relationship with actress Bridget Moynahan.
Sunday’s outcome didn’t include loud celebrations by Bündchen and the Brady family — who just last February celebrated TB12’s Super Bowl victory with the Bucs in his first year with the team.
Now that Brady’s offseason has officially begun, questions about his retirement are already running rapid. The quarterback has said he wants to play until his mid-40’s, and will reach that milestone in August when he turns 45.
After Sunday’s NFC Divisional Round loss, Brady said he hasn’t “put a lot of thought into” his next career move and is “taking it day by day.”
He has one year left on his deal with the Bucs at $25.4 million.
Just a week before the Bucs were eliminated from the playoffs, Bündchen shared a video collage of Brady and their kids with a cryptic caption about “enjoying the years you have left.”
She wrote, “Life is precious because you cannot watch it again. This is what makes life so magical. One day you will eat your last meal. Smell your last flower. Hug a friend for the last time. Without knowing this will be the last time.
“That’s why you need to do everything you love with passion. Enjoy all the years you have left. Because this is the only thing that exists.”
Rumors about Tom Brady’s retirement have begun to flare up following the Buccaneer’s loss in the playoffs. APIn 2017, Brady said Bündchen had pleaded with him to retire and that he told his wife, “Too bad, babe. I’m having too much fun right now.”
Time will tell whether Brady will be back to play with the Bucs for his 23rd NFL season.
