A high school tight end thought he was merely getting a pair of size-16 cleats and sneakers from Rob Gronkowski. The gift ended up being less tangible, but indisputably more life-changing: a motto to live by.
“Stay hyped! Get chicks!” the Patriots tight end wrote on the kicks before shipping them off to Riley Held, who plays for East Longmeadow in Massachusetts.
Gronkowski had announced on Twitter he sadly had no friends with the same foot size, but he was looking for a high school player who could literally fill his shoes. Held heard the call and responded accordingly.
Cleaning the room out and have way to many size 16 cleats and got no friends size 16!!

Alas, to “represent 87” means a lot more than just wearing the shoes: It’s a lifestyle.
