Bills quarterback Josh Allen, who’s taken his lumps against the Jets defense in recent years, did a terrific job controlling this game, completing 19 of 25 passes for 215 yards with two TDs and no turnovers.

Unsung hero
Even in the loss, Allen Lazard, who’s been maligned for dropping some passes this season, had his best game as a Jet, catching six passes for 114 yards, including an acrobatic 52-yard catch of an Aaron Rodgers Hail Mary for a TD on the final play of the first half.

Jets kicker Greg Zuerlein missed two short field goals in the second half that would have given the Jets the lead — the first a 32-yarder late in the third quarter and the second a 43-yarder midway through the fourth quarter.
