A new era begins for the New York Giants this afternoon.

After opening the season 0-3, head coach Brian Daboll announced on Sept. 23 that he would be benching veteran quarterback Russell Wilson after three starts in favor of 2025 25th overall draft pick Jaxson Dart.

“It’s my decision,” Daboll said before Wednesday’s practice. “We’re going with Jaxson. We’re going to get him ready to play this week and for the remainder of the season.”

Dart, 22, will make his first career NFL start this afternoon when the undefeated Los Angeles Chargers visit MetLife Stadium.

Ahead of Dart’s debut, Giants offensive coordinator told The Post that developing the young QB is a “fun challenge.”
