The New York Jets are playing defense today.
11 games into the 2025 season, Aaron Glenn’s club is a lowly 2-9 after having sold off stars Sauce Gardner and Quinnen Williams at the trade deadline. Yet, it isn’t too late for them to play spoiler.
That’s exactly what they’ll be doing when they visit Lamar Jackson’s 5-5 Baltimore Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium at 1 p.m. ET.
Ahead of this matchup, the ascendant squad has tallied four consecutive victories and seem poised to make a comeback from their 1-5 start to land a spot in the playoffs for the seventh time in eight years.

“I’m evaluating myself, the players, schematics, coaches, I’m evaluating everything,” Jets head coach Glenn said earlier this week in regards to strategically starting Tyrod Taylor in Fields’ place again. “So, I don’t want to just place everything on that, that one situation [quarterback]. I’m just looking at everything, because as a head coach, that’s my job, to make sure that I put this team in the best position to go win games.”
It was later reported that Taylor would indeed be starting in place of Fields today.
