A storied rivalry will be reignited tonight when the Chicago Bears play host to the Green Bay Packers for the Wild Card round of the 2026 NFL Playoffs.
This year, the Bears and Packers split their season series. On Dec. 7, the Packers won 28-21, while the Bears won the more recent matchup on Dec. 20, 22-16.
The Bears are in the playoffs for the first time since 2020, sitting atop the NFC North (their last division win was back in 2018). They dropped their final two regular season games this year, and haven’t won a playoff game in their last three appearances.
Green Bay will get their starting quarterback back tonight. Jordan Love was sent into concussion protocol during the Dec. 20 game against the Bears, and though he cleared it in time for Week 18, the team opted to rest him for the playoffs rather than start the regular season finale.
