Hue Jackson may be gone from the Browns, but he’s certainly not forgotten.

While discussing Cleveland quarterback Baker Mayfield, NFL analyst and Jackson’s pal, Michael Silver, said last year’s first overall pick needs to grow up, and that “somebody in that organization needs to tell him what it’s like to be a professional.”

Following Jackson’s firing from the Browns last October, he joined the AFC North rival Bengals as part of then-coach Marvin Lewis’ staff. The move appeared to have left a sour taste in Mayfield’s mouth, prompting the rookie to have icy receptions with his former coach at both Cleveland-Cincinnati meetings.

In response to Silver’s remarks on the NFL Network broadcast, host Rich Eisen jokingly got up to ask, “Is Hue around here,” as he playfully searched the set.

While Mayfield will have a new head coach in Freddie Kitchens this year, he’ll also a have a new toy on offense in the form of friend Odell Beckham Jr., who was traded by the Giants on Tuesday.

Addressing the shocking news Tuesday night on Instagram, Mayfield posted a photo of himself with Beckham and fellow receiver Jarvis Landry.
