ALBANY — It was equal opportunity for the three Giants quarterbacks in training camp, as Eli Manning, Anthony Wright and rookie Andre’ Woodson all threw at least one interception in an afternoon practice dominated by the defensive backs.

Manning tossed interceptions on consecutive plays. First, LB Antonio Pierce scooped up a deflected pass for the first interception of the afternoon. Next, a Manning underthrow to Domenik Hixon was picked off by CB Corey Webster, who dove and tipped the ball up in the air and then came down with it while flat on the grass. CB R.W. McQuarters nearly got into the act when he bobbled a pass intended for Michael Jennings but couldn’t hang on. Moments later, veteran S Sammy Knight, signed in the off-season, intercepted Woodson. Wright tossed one that rookie CB Terrell Thomas hauled in and finally, Woodson was picked off by rookie S Nehemiah Warrick.

K Lawrence Tynes got some work in practice for the first time and went a perfect 8 for 8 on field goals, none longer than 40 yards.

Once again, WR Plaxico Burress sat out.
