Jackson Mahomes may have a new TikTok co-star this upcoming NFL season.

On Friday, the Chiefs agreed to a one-year, $10.75 million deal with former Steelers receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster. Although some in the NFL community congratulated the 25-year-old on the deal — including Kansas City’s Patrick Mahomes — others quipped about what fans may see at Arrowhead Stadium this fall, as Smith-Schuster also boasts a TikTok following, much like a certain quarterback’s younger brother.

“In other news, the TikTok drama between Jackson Mahomes and Juju Smith-Schuster will be unreal,” one Twitter user wrote, while another tweeted, “Juju heading to KC to collab on TikTok’s with Jackson Mahomes.”

Jackson, who frequently posts TikTok videos on game days, seems on board with a future pairing, saying as much in an Instagram Story on Friday.

“Now we have to collab..,” Jackson wrote in response to the Smith-Schuster signing.

Last season, Smith-Schuster shared TikTok videos from inside the Steelers locker room, as well as clips from the field, where he showed off his moves.

Prior to joining the Chiefs, Smith-Schuster spent the first five years of his NFL career with the Steelers, who drafted him 62nd overall in 2017.

“It was an honor to wear the black and gold for you all! I love you!” he wrote Friday in a farewell message to Pittsburgh.

Jackson has been a staple at Chiefs games, where he regularly sits with Brittany Matthews, his brother’s now-wife. This past season, he was at the center of a few controversies and was also called out by a Kansas City establishment for his alleged entitled behavior.

Recently, he jetted to Hawaii for his brother’s extravagant wedding to Matthews, even giving his TikTok followers a glimpse at the couple’s big day.
