The Jaguars relentlessly roasted Sam Darnold on Sunday.
While Jacksonville’s stadium crew played a Darnold lowlights video during the Jets’ loss to the Jaguars, the “Ghostbusters” theme blared over the stadium’s speakers, another shot at Darnold’s “seeing ghosts” comment last Monday night.
That wasn’t the only trolling done toward Darnold on Sunday. Before the game, a banner flew over the stadium which read, “Gardner Minshew ain’t afraid of no ghost,” referencing the Jaguars’ starting quarterback.
Darnold said after Sunday’s game he had no issue with the Jaguars playing up the ghost comment. Several fans in attendance were dressed as ghosts four days before Halloween, and the Jaguars’ mascot even donned a ghost costume.
