James Robinson’s girlfriend Morisa Monroe Garnhart was crying tears of joy after the Jaguars traded the running back to the Jets on Monday.

Garnhart took to her Instagram story to share that she was “full of emotions” when the Jets gifted her a welcome package on Tuesday.

“So full of emotions but the @nyjets sure know how to welcome us,” she wrote over a photo that showed a Jets gift bag with a note that read: “Mo – from our Jets family to yours we hope you enjoy.”

On Monday, the Jets acquired Robinson, sending a conditional draft pick to the Jaguars in exchange for the back. The move came a day after the Jets lost rookie running back Breece Hall for the season to a torn ACL.

Garnhart gushed over the trade in a number of posts shared to her Instagram story, writing that she was “so excited” and in “tears” over the news.

“I’m so happy. But why is everything making me cry,” she wrote with a green heart emoji.

“So incredibly proud of you @James_robinson25, new beginnings,” Garnhart wrote over a repost from the Jets introducing the running back. “Go show them that JR work ethic.”

Garnhart added that she is going to need some “cold weather apparel” now that she and Robinson will relocate from Jacksonville to New Jersey.

“I truly will cherish all the friends & fans that crossed our path in Jax,” she wrote in a separate post.

Robinson and Garnhart have been dating since his days at Illinois State. They celebrated their fourth anniversary as a couple in March.

Garnhart was a game-day staple supporting Robinson with the Jaguars.

Robinson, 24, is in the final year of his contract and will be a restricted free agent in 2023.

The 5-2 Jets host the Patriots (3-4) on Sunday.
