The Lions are keeping Jared Goff in Motown.

The quarterback has agreed to a four-year contract extension worth up to $212 million with $170 million guaranteed, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported on Monday.

Goff, 29, was slated to be a free agent after the 2024 season.

As with every blockbuster NFL contract, time will tell how much of the money is guaranteed for injury versus fully guaranteed.

The Lions went 12-5 and won the NFC North last season and reached the NFC Championship game, which they lost 34-31 to the 49ers.

Goff was acquired by the Lions from the Rams during the 2021 offseason, in the deal where Matthew Stafford headed out to Los Angeles and Detroit also received two first-round picks and a third rounder in return.

The relationship between Rams coach Sean McVay and Goff had fractured before the trade, and Goff struggled in his first season with Detroit before during things around.

Goff completed 67.3 percent of his passes this past season, throwing for 4,575 yards and 30 touchdowns with 12 interceptions.

He threw for 7.6 yards per attempt.

The quarterback has made three Pro Bowls during his eight-year NFL career.

He has become a fan favorite in Detroit, which was on display late last month when the city hosted the NFL Draft and thousands of supporters chanted his name loudly.

This is the third splashy extension doled out by the Lions this offseason.

In April, the team gave star wideout Amon-Ra St. Brown $120 million over four years with $77 million guaranteed, and also agreed to a new four-year deal with offensive tackle Penei Sewell worth $112 million with $85 million guaranteed

Goff previously signed a four-year, $134 million extension with the Rams in 2019 that included a then-NFL record $110 million guaranteed.
