Jayden Daniels looked to the heavens and made a miracle happen on Sunday at Northwest Stadium.
The Commanders quarterback launched a 52-yard pass into the end zone and somehow managed to get the ball to drop in the hands of Noah Brown – after deflecting off of several hands of Bears and Commanders players.
The inexplicable pass resulted in Washington pulling off an 18-15 win over the Bears.
“Nothing but God, man. Nothing but God,” Daniels told CBS after the game. “Without him, I don’t even think I’d be playing this week.”
The last-ditch effort pass started with Daniels dropping back into the pocket before he rolled to his right.

The pass initially hit off the hands of a pack of Commanders and Bears players, who were all going for the ball around the 3-yard line and it bounced right to the uncovered Brown in the end zone.
“I just heard people screaming and our sideline rushing the field. That’s how I knew,” Daniels told reporters. “That’s kind of like a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Not too many people get to experience stuff like that.”

The Commanders have won five of their last six games and Daniels has continued to impress this season with the way he’s played in his rookie year.
Daniels, who was dealing with a rib injury threw for 326 yards and one touchdown, though both teams struggled to really get their offenses going in the first half.
“We’re blessed to have ‘5’ leading this team: The things he can do is special,” Brown told reporters. “I wouldn’t want to play with any other quarterback.”
