Aaron Rodgers is taking his “big brother” duties with Zach Wilson quite literally.
During Tuesday’s installment of HBO’s “Hard Knocks,” Rodgers busts Wilson’s chops in the locker room over the third-year quarterback’s signature headband.
“Bro. Still wearing that?” Rodgers, 39, asked Wilson before the Jets’ preseason loss to the Buccaneers on Saturday.

A headband has become Wilson’s signature accessory. Hard Knocks/Instagram“I have to,” the 24-year-old Wilson responded. “I told you, it’s not a look thing. It’s, I literally sweat in my eyes and can’t see.”
It’s debatable how well Wilson saw the Buccaneers defense, going 9-of-13 for 70 yards, although his 35-yard scramble in the second quarter was impressive.
Rodgers, who landed with the Jets in April following a blockbuster trade with the Packers, is expected to make his debut for Gang Green on Saturday in the preseason finale against the Giants at MetLife Stadium.

Rodgers has been working with Wilson, the No. 2 pick overall in the 2021 NFL Draft. Bill Kostroun/New York PostIt will be the first time Rodgers has made a preseason appearance since 2018.
“There’s always that risk-reward. I think over the years it just hasn’t made sense based on a number of different factors,” Rodgers said Tuesday after practice.
“I used to enjoy playing in the preseason in my younger years, just to kind of take that first hit or feel the nerves in the first drive. So I look forward to being out there.”
Zach Wilson, here in December 2020, wore headbands during his college days at BYU. Getty ImagesHead coach Robert Saleh defended the decision, saying, “You can’t coach scared, you can’t play scared. You can slip out of your car and have something happen to you. We’ll be, knock on wood, everyone will be fine.”
Rodgers will make his Jets regular-season debut in prime time when New York hosts the Buffalo Bills on Monday, Sept. 11.
