The Jets signed two more depth players on Monday, adding wide receiver Charles Johnson and linebacker Kevin Minter.

The 29-year-old Johnson missed last season with the Panthers after knee surgery. He spent 2014-16 with the Vikings. His best season came in 2014, when he had 31 catches for 475 yards and two touchdowns while playing with new Jets quarterback Teddy Bridgewater. Johnson’s best game of his career came against the Jets in 2014, when he had 103 yards receiving on four catches with a touchdown.

Minter, 27, spent last season with the Bengals, but his season ended in Week 14 due to a hamstring injury. He knows Jets coach Todd Bowles from playing for him in Arizona in 2013 and ’14, when Bowles was the defensive coordinator there.
