Jets cornerbacks coach Tony Oden was back at work Thursday, a day after he had an injury scare at practice.

Oden got caught in a scuffle between the Jets and Buccaneers during their joint practice Wednesday and had to be taken to the hospital.

Oden had his left arm in a sling Thursday but was still out there coaching.

Oden would not reveal exactly what his injury was but said he will be fine.

He was trying to prevent a fight when he got knocked to the ground.

“Those guys are a little too big, a little too fast for me,” Oden said. “I didn’t move my feet well enough and kind of got caught up a little bit. I’ve got a little war wound, but I’ll be all right.”

Oden said his wife warned him before the joint practice not to try to break up any fights.

“She was so mad,” Oden said. “They asked, ‘Do you want to call her?’ I was like, ‘No.’ ”

Oden actually returned to work Wednesday night, watching film in his office before returning to practice Thursday.
