Observations from Jets training camp on Monday.

CB Bryce Hall had a good day with a few pass breakups and a near interception in the end zone. Hall looks like he is ready to make a jump in Year 2.

The offensive line had a tough day in pass protection. There are no true sacks in training camp practices, but I counted three plays I thought would have been sacks of Zach Wilson.

The love affair between the Jets’ fans and rookie WR Elijah Moore is in full bloom already. Every time Moore made a play Monday, the crowd of about 1,000 watching cheered loudly. There were also several Moore No. 8 jerseys in the stands.

Wilson had an up-and-down day. He was 6-for-10 during team drills, was “sacked” three times and fumbled one snap. He struggled in the red zone, in particular, and was intercepted during 7-on-7 drills by Bless Austin.

There were no new injuries. DT Quinnen Williams (foot) began running on a side field, a sign that he is on schedule to return in two weeks.
