The Jets got their protector in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft on Thursday night. Now, they need to find a playmaker.

Wide receiver is the position to watch in Round 2 (Pick: 48). All the discussion leading up to the draft has been about the depth at receiver in this draft. That means there should be a bunch taken Friday.

USC’s Michael Pittman Jr., Notre Dame’s Chase Claypool, Colorado’s Laviska Shenault and Penn State’s KJ Hamler are all possibilities.

In the third round (Picks: 68, 79) cornerback, edge-rusher, interior offensive line and running back are all positions to watch. Keep an eye on LSU center Lloyd Cushenberry if he is there when the Jets pick in the third round. At cornerback, Amik Robertson of Louisiana Tech or Virginia’s Bryce Hall could be the pick.
