It looks like the Jets will be without tight end Dustin Keller against the Jaguars on Sunday.

Keller, who sprained his ankle in last week’s win over the Cardinals, missed his second straight day of practice Thursday.

“I’m not sure,” Ryan said when asked about Keller’s availability. “The fact he hasn’t practiced in two days … I know he is getting better. So, we’ll see how it goes. [I’m] not ready to rule him out certainly, but this is the second day that he’s missed. But I know he’s getting substantially better.”

Quarterback Tim Tebow was limited in practice as he recovers from broken ribs. Ryan said Tebow was able to do more in practice Wednesday but still was not sure if he’d be active Sunday. Ryan has said if Tebow is healthy he’ll be the backup quarterback over Greg McElroy.

WR Clyde Gates (concussion) and S LaRon Landry (scheduled rest day) also did not practice.
