The Jets are continuing their search for a wide receiver, but it hit a snag late Tuesday when their scheduled Wednesday visit from former Jaguar Allen Hurns was postponed due to the expected Nor’easter, according to ESPN.com.

According to the report, Hurns instead is visiting the Cowboys on Wednesday.

Though it’s no guarantee Hurns will now visit the Jets, the team has given other receivers a look. Terrelle Pryor visited Tuesday and Charles Johnson was in the Jets’ building on Monday.

The Jaguars released Hurns on Tuesday.

Hurns, 26, played 10 games last year for Jacksonville, catching 39 passes for 484 yards and two touchdowns. An undrafted free agent out of Miami, Hurns’ best season came in 2015 when he had 64 catches for 1,031 yards and 10 touchdowns.

The Jets have some depth at wide receiver but are looking for more. Quincy Enunwa, Jermaine Kearse, Robby Anderson, ArDarius Stewart and Chad Hansen are all returning for the Jets this season. Enunwa coming off neck surgery and Anderson’s legal troubles do cloud the situation.

Anderson could begin the year with a one- or two-game suspension from the NFL.
