The Jets do not know if they will have star cornerback Darrelle Revis back for this week’s game with the Dolphins.

Revis sat out Sunday’s loss to the Steelers, but says he has improved since suffering a mild concussion in the opener against the Bills.

“A lot better,” Revis said when asked how he was feeling. “Going through the tests and things and just doing what I need to do to get back and help my team.”

Jets coach Rex Ryan said it is not a given that Revis will be back this week.

“I don’t think you can assume that,” Ryan said. “He has to, to the NFL standards, pass those tests. Right now, he looks to be doing well so hopefully he will be playing.”

Revis was cleared for non-contact practice on Friday, but still must be cleared for contact. The team resumes practice Wednesday, so there should be a better idea then if he can play.

“I’m just taking it one day at a time,” Revis said. “That’s the only thing I can really do. Just getting better and going from there.”
