The Jets are cornering the market on guys named Michael Carter.

Having already grabbed the North Carolina running back of that name in the fourth round, the Jets selected Duke cornerback Michael Carter II with their second fifth-rounder (156th overall) on Saturday. That pick was acquired in the 2019 deal that shipped Leonard Williams to the Giants.

The latter Carter – listed at 5-11 and 190 pounds — registered two interceptions with eight passes defensed in 11 games for the Blue Devils as a senior last season.

The two Carters had some fun with their sudden alignment with the Jets. The running back tweeted “What up Twin” at the cornerback, who replied “What’s good!!” along with a laughing emoji.
