The Jets bolstered their defense again in the sixth round by selecting LSU defensive back Jarrick Bernard-Converse with the 204th pick in the 2023 NFL Draft on Saturday.
Bernard-Converse transferred to the Tigers in 2022 from Oklahoma State.
The 6-foot-1, 197-pound Bernard-Converse played safety during his first four years in college before shifting to corner with the Tigers, giving Gang Green some versatile depth in the secondary.
The pick was the one added in a trade with the Patriots earlier on Saturday.
