Jets players immediately expressed their approval after it was announced that Gang Green grabbed Alabama defensive lineman Quinnen Williams with the third overall pick in NFL draft.

Free agent signing Le’Veon Bell didn’t show up for voluntary workouts this week, but the $52 million running back also approved of the Williams pick, tweeting “Welcome to the Fam @QuinnenWilliams. Let’s get it,” along with three clapping hands emojis.
Linebacker Darron Lee also tweeted “Congrats bro!” at Williams, adding “Eat up!”
Lee also replied to defensive lineman Avery Williamson’s tweet declaring “I like that!!! Protect me big fella” that Williamson “better get 30+ TFLs (tackles for losses).”
Former Jets and Giants defensive tackle Damon “Snacks” Harrison also tweeted at current Jets lineman Leonard Williams, with “Williams Wall 2.0? Law offices of Williams and Williams?”
