Someone hacked into Darrelle Revis’ Twitter account on the Fourth of July holiday, and claimed that the Jets star cornerback had been traded.
Pro Football Talk reported the situation after Revis had regained control of his Twitter account and deleted the hacked message.
“no worries, i was not traded and my account was hacked, i love @JohnGeiger_ and @schwartzfeinsod , thank you, have a safe and happy 4th!” Revis tweeted.
While Jets fans avoided one scare there is still some uncertainty as to whether Revis will holdout from training camp later this month. He has been non-committal on the subject.
But Revis did Tweet later: “Jet for life.”
