Neither CB Lito Sheppard (right quadriceps) nor CB Donald Strickland (right ankle) practiced yesterday, and both are questionable Sunday.

Sheppard has a chance of playing; Strickland will not. If neither can play, Dwight Lowery will start for Sheppard and Drew Coleman will play nickel for Strickland. If Sheppard plays and Strickland is out, Lowery will play nickel.

Besides those CBs, Ryan, seemingly mocking the NFL for the huge fine it levied on the Jets last week for not putting Brett Favre on the injury report last season, listed half the Jets roster.

None of the following is considered serious enough to keep the players from playing Sunday. One of them was Mark Sanchez, whom Ryan said “had a little tendinitis” in his right knee.

Sanchez participated fully in practice, but Ryan said, “We just added him [to the list].”

“Make sure he’s on that list — I don’t mean anything by that,” Ryan said, drawing some laughter. “It’s just a little thing so we’re going to put him on there.”
