The Jets signed CB Rashad Barksdale off waivers from the Giants today.

Barksdale was drafted by the Eagles in the sixth round of the 2007 draft, but was cut before the season and signed with the Chiefs, who he played six games for that season.

Barksdale, who is from from Hudson, NY, was a member of the Giants practice squad last season.
