The Jets signed Josh Doctson on Saturday to fill out their woeful group of wide receivers.

Doctson, a 2016 first-round pick of the Redskins, spent his first three seasons in Washington, where he had 81 receptions for 1,100 yards and eight touchdowns in 33 games.

The 27-year-old and former TCU standout struggled at times before being cut last summer by the Redskins. Doctson landed with the Minnesota Vikings, but had zero catches in one game last season.

Doctson, whose signing terms weren’t disclosed, adds depth to a receiving room in desperate need of a superstar to help quarterback Sam Darnold take his game to the next level.

Jets wide receivers averaged 215.2 yards per game last season, which ranked near the bottom of the league.
