The Jets added a veteran to their young wide receiver corps on Tuesday, signing Marquess Wilson, formerly of the Bears.
Wilson spent four injury-plagued years in Chicago, where he caught 56 passes for 777 yards and three touchdowns in 31 games.
The 6-foot-4, 206-pounder has had a hard time staying on the field. He appeared in just three games last season, beginning the year on the PUP list and finishing on IR with a broken foot. He has not appeared in more than 11 games in a season.
Wilson joins a Jets receiving corps that lacks experience. Quincy Enunwa is the most experienced receiver they have.
