Three things to watch for as the Jets face the Falcons in NFL preseason Week 2:

1. D-Line shuffle

The Jets have a few minor injuries on the defensive line with Quinnen Williams, Vinny Curry and Bryce Huff all not expected to play. But that could just underscore the depth the Jets have at this position. They received some impressive performances against the Eagles from Micheal Clemons, Jabari Zuniga and Tanzel Smart. General manager Joe Douglas could face some tough decisions on who to cut along the line and that should be on display against Atlanta.

2. Joe or no Joe

Jets coach Robert Saleh was undecided about whether his starters would play in this game, including quarterback Joe Flacco. The veteran did not play in the first preseason game against the Eagles, but that was before he was expected to be the team’s starter in Week 1. Does Saleh decide Flacco needs some game reps or does he keep him on ice?

3. Receiving depth

It is clear cut who the top four receivers on the Jets are — Corey Davis, Elijah Moore, Garrett Wilson and Braxton Berrios. After that, things get interesting. This is a chance for players like Jeff Smith, Denzel Mims, Tarik Black, Calvin Jackson and Irv Charles to make their case that they deserve a roster spot.
