Jets coach Aaron Glenn is clearly seeking an experienced coach to replace Tanner Engstrand, who spent one year as the offensive coordinator.

Reich, 64, has been a two-time head coach in the NFL with the Colts and Panthers.

He currently is a senior adviser with Stanford.

He served as the interim head coach for the Cardinal in 2025.

Reich spent five seasons as the head coach of the Colts from 2018-22 and went 40-33-1 in the regular season with two playoff appearances.

He was fired midway through his one season in charge of the Panthers.

In addition to Reich, Roman and Bevell, the Jets did virtual interviews with Ronald Curry and Lunda Wells.

Reich previously was the offensive coordinator for the Eagles in 2016-17, winning a Super Bowl in his second year.

He also was the offensive coordinator for the Chargers from 2014-15.
