It seems the Jimmy Garoppolo injury timeline isn’t as dire as some believed.

The Raiders quarterback is expected to be ready for the start of training camp after undergoing foot surgery in the offseason, NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport reported Tuesday, amid recent speculation as to when Garoppolo, 31, will suit up for Las Vegas.

Garoppolo signed a three-year, $67.5 million deal with the Raiders during free agency in March following five and a half seasons in San Francisco.

His contract reportedly includes an out clause in the wake of the foot injury he sustained with the 49ers last season.

In light of recent developments surrounding Garppolo’s availability, buzz began building that Tom Brady could potentially suit up again.

The seven-time Super Bowl champion, who retired from the NFL “for good” in February after 23 seasons, has moved closer to obtaining a minority stake with the Raiders.

Brady, 45, has since shut down speculation he is plotting another NFL return.

“I’m certain I’m not playing again, so I’ve tried to make that clear and I hate to continue to profess that because I’ve already told people that lots of times — but I’m looking forward to my broadcasting job with Fox next year,” Brady told Sports Illustrated last week.

Beyond branching into ownership, Brady will become the lead NFL analyst for Fox Sports in the fall of 2024.

As for the Raiders — who released longtime quarterback Derek Carr in February — head coach Josh McDaniels isn’t sweating the small stuff when it comes to his current signal-caller.

“I have no anxiety,” McDaniels said in regard to reports about Garoppolo’s status. “You guys may have anxiety. I have no anxiety.”

The second-year Las Vegas coach added: “I’m not going to put a timeline on it or a day or anything… But like I said, I have no anxiety. Feel pretty good about it.”

Through 11 games last season, Garoppolo threw for 2,437 yards, 16 touchdowns, and four interceptions.
