Joe Burrow prefers Mickey Mouse to the Boy Who Lived.

Speaking to the media on Wednesday, the Cincinnati Bengals quarterback opened up about his childhood, revealing scary movies — along with the “Harry Potter” franchise — are not atop his must-watch list.

“I was scared of everything growing up,” the 23-year-old rookie said. “I still don’t like scary movies, I don’t like haunted houses or anything like that. I couldn’t watch ‘Harry Potter,’ ‘Lord of the Rings,’ ‘House.’ I was strictly a ‘SpongeBob,’ Disney Channel, Nickelodeon kind of guy.”

Burrow’s remarks unsurprisingly made the rounds on social media, with Twitter users urging the No. 1 overall pick to welcome the wizarding world into his life.

“@JoeyBis crazy not to give Harry Potter a chance. But Lord of the rings is just a bunch of guys walking around,” one fan said.

“Bruhhhh. HARRY POTTER?????” another stated.

“Good Morning Football’s” Kyle Brandt also asked the question stumping most fans, did Burrow avoid Hugh Laurie’s “House” or the 1985 horror film “House.”

“Joe Burrow says he was afraid of things as a kid. Says he couldn’t watch Harry Potter or HOUSE,” Brandt tweeted. “Is he talking about the medical show or these movies…. What the hell.”

Perhaps Burrow will honor his past with SpongeBob-inspired cleats in the future.
