It’s safe to say the son of Broncos owner Pat Bowlen is not happy with the state of the franchise.
In a series of wild Instagram posts, John Bowlen went scorched earth on new coach Vic Fangio, expressing his displeasure that former coach Mike Shanahan was not brought back.

“Hey coach!!! I just fired [new Broncos head coach Vic] Fangio! You kick 7 [general manager John Elway] out of your old office and let’s ride!!! This was our pirate ship…from the beginning! [Team president] Joe [Ellis] on the Plank!!!”

Pat Bowlen is fighting Alzheimer’s disease and handed over control of the franchise to Ellis in 2014. There is a battle developing between the Bowlen children over who will next run the team. though John is not considered a candidate.
Pat has seven children between two wives. His daughter Brittany is the favored successor, though sister Beth Bowlen Wallace has also made a push for the position.
