Juantarius Bryant, who was the victim of a fake invite to an NFL tryout, will get his chance to impress scouts after all.

Bryant has been invited to the HUB Football camp this weekend, ESPN.com reported.

The Austin Peay defensive standout went undrafted in 2020, but thought he was going to get a look with the Falcons after receiving a text message from who he thought was defensive line coach Dean Pees.

“When [he] told me they have a spot for me at the rookie minicamp, my heart just started racing,” Bryant told the Tennessee-based university student newspaper at the time. “It made me start thinking, ‘hard work really does pay off.’ ”

It wasn’t Pees, though. It was someone messing with Bryant. He was turned away by the Falcons at their rookie camp.

“It’s most definitely one of the most embarrassing things that has ever happened to me and a very humbling experience,” Bryant said in a statement posted Saturday to Twitter.

But now he will really be getting a chance to prove he is worthy of a shot.
