Nobody saw this Chargers lineup change coming.

Justin Herbert, Los Angeles’ No. 6 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, surprisingly made his first start Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs after Tyrod Taylor suffered a chest injury following pregame warmups, according to NFL Network.

Herbert, 22, recorded a rushing touchdown at the end of his first drive of the game – an eight-play 79-yard drive that he capped off with a four-yard TD run.

Taylor was deemed questionable as the game started.
