Lamar Jackson didn’t get caught speeding. But he supplied the evidence anyway.

The Ravens quarterback took a video of himself driving 105 mph and posted it on Instagram on Tuesday. In the video, you can see the speedometer going over 105, with his phone in his hand capturing the ill-advised action. There is also a person in the car without a seatbelt on.

It’s unclear why Jackson posted the video — apparently now deleted —  apart from perhaps to show off his bracelet and the tunes he was listening to.

He later tweeted an apology, saying, “I made a bad decision and will set a better example going forward.”

Baltimore can’t be happy to see its starting quarterback acting like this, though Jackson must be happy police didn’t see him acting like this.

The Ravens committed to Jackson, electing to deal Joe Flacco to the Broncos earlier this offseason. The dual threat took over the team amid Flacco injuries and ineffectiveness and, with his feet more than his arm, he carried Baltimore to a 6-1 record in his starts, before losing to the Chargers in a wild-card game.
