Larry Fitzgerald Sr. called out Kyler Murray for being spoiled.
As the Cardinals’ quarterback seeks a new lucrative contract, Fitzgerald Sr., the father of Murray’s former teammate Larry Fitzgerald, weighed in.
“He’s spoiled,” Fitzgerald Sr. tweeted. “[B]rings his Oklahoma offense to the NFL team has to catch up great talent. He’s never been humbled keep working.”
Fitzgerald Sr. is a longtime sportswriter at the Minnesota Spokesman-Recorder. His son played wide receiver with Murray on the Cardinals in 2019 and 2020.
Throughout the offseason, Murray has been embroiled in a bitter contract dispute with the Cardinals.

Earlier this week, Murray’s agent Erik Burkhardt released a lengthy statement that more or less boiled down to the classic line from “Goodfellas”: “Eff you, pay me.”
While Fitzgerald Sr. certainly does not speak for his son, this is an account that we should probably consider more carefully than we would just any random outsider.
