The Denver Post reports today that the Broncos say 10 teams have contacted them to express interest in possibly trading for QB Jay Cutler.

The paper does not identify the teams, instead pointing out the NFL teams that do not need Cutler. The Jets are not on the “do not need” list.

Cutler’s situation took another nasty turn yesterday, when NFL.com detailed conversations Cutler had with Broncos owner Pat Bowlen, according to agent Bus Cook.

Cook said certain promises were made to Cutler about the offensive coaching staff that later were broken. The Redskins have denied interest in Cutler, according to the Washington Post.

And the Cleveland Browns may be getting ready to trade Brady Quinn, which could wind up creating a three-team trade in which Cutler is moved.
