The Giants’ Week 1 performance looked very much like the 2020 Giants. The offense was lifeless. They could not move the ball. When they did, Daniel Jones fumbled like his old self. Forty turnovers in 28 starts will not get it done. The Broncos dominated every facet of the game in their 27-13 win in front of a packed house at MetLife Stadium. Can the Giants turn this thing around quickly by their Thursday night game against the Washington Football Team?

- OFFENSE: Looked the same as 2020. Daniel Jones can’t keep turning the ball over like he did. The offensive line was not good. Tynes’ love affair with both Matt Peart and Kyle Rudolph may be ending soon. Saquon Barkley is not the same player right now and Tynes is genuinely concerned. The bright spot was Sterling Shepard, who looks good in his new No. 3 jersey this season and played a heck of a game.
- JASON GARRETT: His playcalling was terrible. Does a better QB make the Giants better or is the scheme just bad? Tynes also noticed that there are virtually no No. 8 Jones jerseys out in the crowd. Who is the memorable player from this Giants team and the past few years that the fans can get behind?
- GIANTS-WASHINGTON: Can Big Blue turn it around in just a few days? After going into the season feeling good, Tynes is down on the team right now. Both him and Paul don’t see the Giants beating Washington and think Taylor Heinicke is better than people give him credit for. I’m the positive one of the group and think this is a winnable game and the Giants will win a low scoring battle.
