The Patriots were left with an ugly loss to the Dolphins on Sunday — and an injury to starting quarterback Mac Jones.
Jones injured his back during Sunday’s 20-7 loss to Miami and was seen entering an X-ray room at Hard Rock Stadium. It’s unclear when Jones sustained the injury.

Jones played the entirety of Sunday’s game, completing 21 of 30 passes for 213 yards. He also threw the Patriots’ sole touchdown to Ty Montgomery during the third quarter.
The Patriots star, however, was sacked twice and hit three times by the Dolphins’ defense.
